We have been treated so well, above and beyond our expectations. Owners are genuinely kind, caring and helpful, and if we would go back to Zanzibar, we would again stay there!

Amazing authentic african ‘hotel’ with super atmosphere!
The owner says himself it’s not a hotel, but a home. And it’s easy to see why. This place is a warm community with great facilities and nature hand in hand. The atmosphere and the staff make sure you feel at home and they’ll help you with whatever you would need.
Me and my friends had a wonderful time in this beatiful home and we hope to return sometime soon!

I really loved my bungalow, it was cozy and comfortable. The room was small, but it had everything I needed.
I was sleeping with the sound of waves, what was just wonderful.
It has a nice porch with a small couch to relax on rainy days.
Breakfast was delicious with many options. The meals were also delicious, but expensive for Zanzibar (but that is common in touristic hotels).
And I just loved the location!!!
Directly at the beach, everything on sand, i didn't wear my shoes for the whole time. There is a lot of space to hang around and relax, they have hammocks and couches and sunbeds....
I really liked that you have that space - unlike at other places where they build as much bungalows as possible to earn more money.
I guess at high season it might be a bit busy but at low season it was absolutely quiet and wonderful.
When I was there, swimming was fantastic with deep water, but thats depending on the tides, so it can also be bad there .
I really recommend that place and would always come back.

The location is absolutely perfect. It is located directly on the beach, so you can eat barefoot under the stars or watch the sunrise in pyjamas. It is a quite remote place so you might feel that the beach is only there for you to enjoy it.
The food menu is vast and the food is good. The boys from the Bar are very nice, funny, helpful and create a relaxed atmosphere. Thank you Joseph, Octavian and all others! We had great time with you and still listening to the music you put on.
We had the family suite with balcony. The rooms are big enough and the bathroom is also very large.
The ocean has several tide times so you can not count on it to take a swim at your pace.
We were on trips every day.
The goats from the neighbors house are sometimes pretty loud but extremely funny...they do not sound familiar at all :)

The garden is perfect to stay during the evenings and to enjoy the ocean and drinks. There you can feel the wind and stay for long nights.
The food is delicious and staff is very friendly. Every day, catch of the day is different and you can try different fishes.
Fruits served for breakfast are delicious.
They clean the pool and room every day.

Bwejuu is set on a beautiful beach north of Paje. There’s a lot to do in the area (caves, forests , spice farms, Rock restaurant) and lots of bars and restaurants however you’ll need transportation to access them.
We travelled around the entire island in an hire car which I would highly recommend, was great fun and easy to find our way around. I would say this area is more dirty and littered which is a shame as the rest of the country is really well kept.

We were a family of 10 people.
We were a family of 10 people. I did not expect to walk in sand all over the place. The foliage kept it a little cooler. The pool was fine and clean. I did not expect no air conditioning and trying to stay cool with a standing room fan.
Food was Ok - nothing special. The drive from the airport after dark was dangerous. The walk to the beach was short. A few restaurants were open down the beach.
We moved to another resort just down the street after one night and had clean rooms, air conditioning, on the beach, great meals. We kept our keys because they said we could not get a refund for the 2nd and 3rd nights we had reserved. They said we could come back and use the pool but did rent out our rooms from the 2nd & 3rd nights.
It was more like a hostel but was not advertised well on Booking.com

Bwejuu is a small village with two shops where you can buy groceries and cosmetics. There is public transport there. In the vicinity is bigger village of Paje where there are more restaurants and shops.
The beach is absolutely beautiful - white sand, wide a very long (excellent for walks and looking for shells), few people there.
The best restaurants are Shanti café and Sahari.
You can hire kite board there and teacher for kite boarding.
8 km from Bwejuu is beautiful place where you can watch sunset and enjoy big bar with excellent drinks and good music for dancing.

Bwejuu has a great beach.
Bwejuu has a great beach. It is relatively quiet with only a few people working the beach to sell tours etc. We met some friendly locals and joined in some birthday celebrations, which was fun.
Best be aware that there is a big tide so you can’t swim all the time. When the tide is in, the water is shallow and very warm.
In the evenings there is a warm breeze that is refreshing and keeps the mosquitoes away.

Bwejuu area is very disappointing.
Bwejuu area is very disappointing. It has a beach that cannot be enjoyed, far from everywhere, much more expensive than Nungwi and much lower quality. It is a complete mess. I don’t understand why Paje and Bwejuu area are so famous
One of the best location where we have stayed in our exotic vacations. Very friendly for families, everything new and very clean. We traveled with our 2 year old daughter and the host was very nice to provide everything that we needed for her. The hotel is super close to the beach, the staff is very friendly and kind, the food is amazing. They always have fresh catch to offer, the food is tasty and the fruits delicious.
I highly recommend and we will definitely come back here in the future.
Never have I ever stayed in such a beautiful hotel with such friendly staff. I felt truly welcome throughout my entire stay. Our bungalow was basically straight on the beach with a swimming pool and other facilities around the corner. While we very much enjoyed the food & drinks in the restaurant, our little son especially enjoyed playing in the kid's corner. Communication with the staff when arranging different trips was also very good. Truly great experience!
We spent two wonderful weeks at Kijani with our young children. Everything was perfect: beautiful design and views, a « desert island » feel on the beach, a stunning swimming pool with a very nice shallow area for kids. There is plenty of space so even if the hotel was fully booked it was always quiet and pleasant. The lovely staff made us feel at home. We 100% recommend it (it’s even more beautiful than on the pictures) and we will be back one day for sure!
Gorgeous lovely place
Very near to Paje
Relaxing area
Beautiful garden
Immediately on the beach
Lot of natural shadow from the palms, sunbeds and umbrella's
Great restaurant with many food and drinks options (Kilimanjaro beer is my 1st choice, advice from Zanzibar people)
Wonderful helpful happy staff
The best private hotel in Paje area that I know
All the best wishes to Mollel, you made my stay extraordinary
Was wonderful holiday to stay in The Golden blue luxury hotel , they surprise us for the romantic dinner on the beach for the good price , All staff all the time are happy with Guest, The Golden blue luxury hotel is the best hotel in bwejuu with VIP service , they have transfer and tour for good price that depend with budget of everyone. We enjoy the beach is very clean and food is very nice
The staff (especially the bar manager and receptionist) were extremely kind and welcoming. The breakfast options are great and the restaurant itself has tasty food for lunch and dinner. Rooms are clean and very spacious. Beach is merely a 2 min walk from the entrance to the hotel. Also very convenient that they have a generator since the island suffers from many power outages.
We stayed at Mustapha’s Place for nine nights with our 1 and 4 year old. The staff were incredible and so friendly. The pool and playground were so fun for our little ones. The food is really great and priced at a good value. I highly recommend this place for families looking to get off the beaten track and want a truly Zanzibar holiday. We will definitely come back!
Our stay at The african paradise Beach hotel was awesome.
Pia and Hashim were very friendly, so kind and very helpful anytime we need anything. They really made us feel home.
The hotel staff were doing great. Big thanks to entire team.
The food was delicious, unlimited.
Bikes and kanoes for free, we tried everything. Friendly dog and cat.
Very enjoyable experience.
A small and friendly boutique hotel, so if you looking for a romantic getaway and private experience than this is your place.
The room is spotless and spacious. The view is amazing with the pool. The staff is exceptionally helpful.
And I also have to add, that we ate the most delicious food here, no matter it's local or international cuisine.
the pool is amazing, the rooms also, the whole hotel is very well maintained. the staff were all very friendly and nice. we had a great time! the hotel is a good 20min walk from the busy and crowded Paje beach and we preferred its quieter location whilst still being able to walk or bike on the beach into Paje.
Location, location, location.
Take of your shoes, relax and unwind on one the beachloungers or in a hammock.
One of the few places that really has its chairs on the beach.
My room was small but bright. Nice hot rainshower. Staff very friendly and helpful.
We had a lovely time at the hotel. The staff was very friendly and casual. The food at the restaurant was great. The whole set-up was relaxing. We especially liked that Bwejuu area was calm without too many people around on the beach.
Location is great and the property is as beautiful as it looks on the photos. The beach is public so you get to see some foot traffic. The manager was super nice and really tried to make us comfortable and at home.
Beautiful hotel just outside Paje, you can take long beach walks and watch beautiful sunrise, staff and owners are lovely and very helpful . Hotel is maintained to the highest standard. Loved it
hidden gem, perfect to relax, incredible service, beautiful villas, probably the most luxurious experience in Zanzibar.
The food is unbelievable, approaching michelin star quality
Very nice place to stay - the hotel has a pool and nice villas. Good breakfast is included. There is a possibility to have lunch and dinner at the territory - paid separately.
A perfect rustic setting on the beach. Our airconned bungalow was great for 2 adults 2 children. The swimming pool was warm and the restaurant just set back from the beach.
Thé stay un blue Palm was amazing thanks to the personnal who was very Nice with us. Food was very tasty and the location of the hotel on the beach was paradise.
