This place has an amazing ambient and a beautiful soul! It was like a hub for the coolest people from every country, looking for a peaceful, extremely relaxed vacation in a bit of wilderness, heartfelt conversations with alcohol next to the fire… it’s all in the package, and as a bonus you get one of the best teams - owners and staff members that are right there for you literally every minute. Thank you all guys- Benjamin, Annick, Cliffton, Melania, Elisabeth and others whose names we did not get to know;) You were all so amazing that even after two weeks it was a pity to leave. We look forward to meeting you all again! PS. A big thanks to Cliffton for recommending us Malaika, We enjoyed it to the fullest ;-)

It’s a very quiet and enjoyable place and you can book lots of activities from there but overall there is not much going outside the hotels. The public beach doesn’t have any good restaurants or shops so you’re pretty much tied to your resort.

The staff and the hotell facilties are the absulute best. The location is more quiet then other places, they do not have a beach like Kendwa but it you are just looking to relax a couple of days this does not matter. It is like on a little cliff, sooo nice!

Kizimkazi is a village, although in fact there are 2 distinct and separate areas, with 2 beaches. The rest of the area is comprised of large, private self-contained resorts with their own private stairways. There is not much to explore, but boat owners offer big-game fishing and dolphin-watching. There are only 2 restaurants, although some of the private resorts offer their restaurants to the public; but at a price. Hardly any touting which is nice; 3 or 4 days is probably sufficient to see all there is to see.

Place was very clean, food was nice and staff were very friendly, always available to assist They also organized transport for us to travel around Pete(Rasta man) was very friendly and he gave me some plants to bring to South Africa, I have them in my garden now Morning shower was terrible, water was always cold and it seemed like their geyser or boiler was faulty

Very friendly staff, everyone is ready to help if there are any problems! The vibe: hakuna matata! I will definitely recommend everyone I know to stay at Promised Land Lodge during their ZNZ visit. Just keep in mind that it isn’t near big cities or so, but that was the reason we booked our stay there. Quiet place, friendlier people than in Stone Town (definitely!), all sorts of activities that you can do, forest vibes. I fell in love with Kizimkazi :) Asante sana for everything ❤️

We did enjoy the atmosphere, that staff who always was there to make sure that we had a great time. The food and the facilities where amazing. In total we spent 3 nights/days there, but should have been longer. Also, a big applouse to the staff who made sure that the beach where clean and tidy !:) On the day of leaving, the hotel arranged a massage to make sure we left with a good and relaxed mind. To be recommended!

The garden and flowers are very beautiful. The swimmingpool is very clean and the stuff are very polite and helpful when i wanted to know more about daytrips and the surrounding of Kizimkazi. The food was superdelicious. And the wifi was working perfectly. I highly recommend a stay at Kameleon Blue also because it’s easy to get in contact with other guests and i got the feeling being part of a nice community.

Amazing place! We had a great time. Sea View bungalow. It was very easy to get into the sea via the property. No need to go over public beach. Pool was lovely enough chairs. Great breakfast and restaurant. Lovely campfire in the evening. And we even saw some monkey on the property luckily the massai was there to help. Amazing owner! A hidden treasure we were very happy to end our holiday over here

The Hotel itself is really beautiful, a tiny place but we really loved it. The Beach is not as long as at the North side for example but still possible for a short walk and the water is clear. And the hotel is perfectly locatated for an amazing sunset. We really enjoyed watching it every single day. The Breakfast and Dinner was very tasty. We really liked and they also had several options.

It was perfect for us! Tranquil location right at the beach in a non touristy town. Rooms are beautifully decorated, super comfy and spacious beds and just overall such a peaceful and relaxing place. 🐚 The lovely owner couple always tried to help us out and make us as comfortable as possible. Sleeping in the sea front room was amazing with the sound of the ocean every night and morning.

Best part of staying at kizikula was their service. The chef personally talked to us and accommodate our custom preferences for vegetarian meals. They served the food at the choice of place rooms, hammock, beach , pool The room design is modern and chic with a fully functional Air conditioner (Most properties doesn't seem to have working Air conditioner in Zanzibar)

It was a fantastic stay. Great and friendly workers. Beautiful location and amazing food at the restaurant. Also it's a good place if you are on vacation but also you have to work. It is quite and great WiFi service. I did all my meetings there. Very helpful workers if you need anything outside the hotel like going to ATM 🏧 they assist you with pleasure.

The staff is AMAZING. This whole place is beautiful and serene. The owner even helps people check in and talks to the guest. I will definitely be back and will also visit their Sister Hotel called Kingston. I truly enjoyed my 10 days there. I LOOOOOOVED it there. I went for a solo trip for my 40th bday. It was a spiritual trip for me.

Embe Lodge is a hidden gem in Kizimkazi! I had a spacious room with a balcony and beautiful view on the garden. The garden is quite big, very pretty and has a pool. A stunning cliff side and a sand beach are in close walking distance and also the staff was very lovely! I’ll definitely be back when around!!
