About
Overlooking the Pittsburgh skyline from across the Allegheny River, this state-of-the-art ballpark is the home of the Pittsburgh Pirates. See the Pirates play between April and early October and take a seat behind home plate to take in the commanding views of the city. Grab a few hot dogs or pick between other delicious snacks from the concessions. Before you leave, don’t skip a visit to the gift shop. PNC Park can be reached from the city center easily via the subway. You can also visit other Pittsburgh landmarks like the Andy Warhol Museum afterward. – Tripadvisor

- PhotogeniusWashington DC, District of Columbia86 contributionsGreatGreat park, great food and great views. Easy access via T, and walking distance also. The park is well-designed and the mobile ordering process is fast and well-designed. Definitely recommend!Visited April 2023Traveled with familyWritten April 10, 2023
- DouMauVirginia Beach, Virginia118 contributionsLast minute decision between Penguins Fan Appreciation night or Pirates game? Great decision! What a beautiful baseball park! Walked up to ticket window with no knowledge of sections of prices. The guy at the window was an exasperated fast talking Yinzer, who I believe, wanted to close his window. I said, “behind Astros dugout.” and he said, “$81.” Great! I get out my card to swipe and he says, “$162.” My Son’s 1st MLB game, I thought , “oh well. Just do it!” Game had already started, we walk into a home run coming right at us. We walk around the stadium to our seats and we are 4 rows behind the Astros dugout. Sec 12, row J, seats 3,4. Excellent seats and well worth the price. The game was a thriller won by the Pirates in the bottom of the 9th. Great memories made with my Son.Visited April 2023Traveled with familyWritten April 19, 2023
- TheTravelGirl525183 contributionsBest ballpark in AMERICA (maybe the world)!I have reviewed PNC Park before, but it is worth an update after our recent visit. This park just gets better and better. They have made several updates for the 2023 season and all of them were outstanding. First - the food! Deli dogs is a must-visit.....the Reuben dog was delicious. Nachorita serves huge servings with fresh and yummy toppings. And, the Fathead brewery bar has THE BEST beers. The updated outfield viewing areas are perfect and make you feel like you are right in the action. Of course the skyline views are amazing, but being in this ballpark is such a great experience. It is so clean and easy to walk around.Visited April 2023Written April 25, 2023
- ElvisAndrusArlington, Texas819 contributionsGreat place to see a gameI don't think there is a ballpark with a view of the skyline that can match this. Lots of history in the park, celebrating days gone by. Good variety in the concessions,,, highlighted by Manny's Barbecue! It was very sunny so few people were in the seats they paid for and I kind of pushed myself against the pressbox and was more than comfortable. Great place to see a game. Not a lot of PNC moments to think of but everything else was there.Visited April 2023Written May 1, 2023
- Aud E149 contributionsOne of the top ballparksI’m on a ballpark tour. I’ve been to 15 or so and this ranks as one of the best. The fan experiences are great. The park is small in feel but large in reality. If you sit behind home plate or the upper levels you have an amazing view. The food was excellent and reasonably priced in my opinion.Visited May 2023Traveled with friendsWritten May 22, 2023
- Judy R1 contributionA fabulous 4 days with family in Pittsburgh!Pittsburgh didn’t disappoint! Did a walking tour of beautiful downtown & took in all the unique & beautiful architecture. Walking the Strip & enjoying the interesting shops was so much fun. Great experience watching Toronto Blue Jays & Pittsburgh Pirates at their fantastic renovated PNC Stadium on the river. The many bridges crossing the rivers are a must see! A fabulous We didn’t miss taking the Duquesne Incline to further enjoy the spectacular view. Restaurants were fantastic! - Alicia_JA323 contributionsBeautiful Park in a Historic CityThe ballpark is gorgeous. There are few other MLB fields that have such a beautiful location, especially in the heart of a historic city. PNC is cashless, so go prepared with a credit card. The food was decent and there was a good mix of options to choose from. The pro shop is large and the prices are reasonable. There are also lots of good photo ops around the park. The area around PNC has really been developed and cleaned up.Visited May 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten May 30, 2023

We did a ballpark tour the morning before the game and our tour guide was fantastic. He was very knowledgable and we loved seeing different areas and hearing about the history. It was just my husband and I, but I loved all the activites they had for kids.Visited June 2023Written June 24, 2023
- DALC142 contributionsLove this park!Love this park! Easy to navigate, our seats were wonderful and so reasonably priced (compared to our hometown). Food and drink choices were good; prices similar to other parks. Restrooms were clean and plentiful. Our walk here from/to our hotel (Hampton Inn) was pretty easy. Took the Andy Warhol bridge as the Roberto Clemente bridge was closed for repairs.Visited June 2023Traveled as a coupleWritten June 29, 2023

Wasn't crazy about having to tip the vendors when buying drinks. Almost feel obligated to since it comes up on the scanner they hand you.Visited July 2023Written July 20, 2023

In a nutshell. Ive been to 30 MLB parks and PNC is top 5, easy. The stadium itself is great, the food options and surrounding area are excellent and the backdrop is spectacular. Get a seat in the first few rows of the upper deck or towards the back of the box seats on the 100 level so that you can see the game and the city and bridges. Enjoy

Like the title states, the views are AMAZING. I sat in 318 row F and the views were perfect up there. No cup holders in the 300s so it was a little awkward finding a place to set our beers. The seats are also super small so luckily due to social distancing the seats, we could spread out a bit. The staff at guest services and the ushers were super helpful explaining where things at the park were as it was our first time there. Did not enjoy the long lines as most stands only had 1 or 2 registers open and no enforcement of Covid health and safety policies. Also didn’t enjoy the lack of vegetarian/ pescatarian food. We asked guest services where some things we saw online were and they said it’s where they had a whole chunk of the stadium blocked off and closed down. Wish I would’ve known that so we could’ve eaten before hand. Also didn’t like the lack of local beers. Way too many domestic brews.

This is a lovely stadium. If you are a baseball fan, I recommend allowing time to walk around the outside of the stadium before going in. We did it early afternoon and coincidentally was there when the team bus arrived, so great photo opp. The outside of the ballpark has some of the best statues I have seen, and also along the Allegheny walking path they have baseballs for each retired number. For the actual game, although it was a sell out crowd, security got everyone in very quickly. Food lines were long. My son waited in line and he was gone about half an hour, but we arrived early so he did not miss any of the game.

Been a lifelong pirate fan. Although the last time I saw the Pirates win the World Series disco was in LOL it’s a beautiful park with a spectacular view believe it or not it was a very relaxing experience. The staff was friendly and helpful although you’re gonna pay a lot for food and beverages but that’s to be expected at any ballpark. Tickets were reasonably priced and as a rideshare driver I also recommend people who do baseball stadium tours to go here. Go Pirates!

This is a review of the PNC Park TOUR only. The park itself is a must see for a ball game. The best way to put the tour in perspective is to compare this $30 tour to the $10 tour at Acrisure. The Acrisure tour is far superior designed at a value price for the fan with a maximum experience. The PNC park game tour is reflective of cheap ownership trying to cash in on a minimal experience. The tour guides are very good an knowledgeable, but other than the Legends museum, all you see are various public areas throughout the stadium. Was said a possibility to see the press box and BP, neither happened. Not a recommended tour!

I went to PNC Park to watch my Cardinals play the Pittsburgh Pirates on opening day. It is a great ballpark, one of the best in MLB, from the great views of the bridges and Pittsburgh cityscape, to the statues of the Pirates Hall of Famers.
It's a nice ballpark to walk around in. Be sure to check out the walk way beyond the outfield, between the stadium and the river, for great views of the river and city.
The food was good and there seemed to be a large selection. My only issue was parking, I didn't do any research beforehand and it took me a bit to find some, but not a big deal.
I recommend this ballpark!

Great stadium/park!!!! Highly recommend to any baseball fan that hasn't been. It is definitely a top 3 stadium, if not #1. My goal is to go to a game at every home park, and this knocked #9 off my list, and it was the best place to watch a game so far. Easy to walk to the stadium from any number of hotels downtown. Left-field seats were modestly priced, purchased them online, and they were very low to the field and felt like we were right on top of the game. Concourses were easy to move about and find concessions and souvenirs.

Great view of the city, great view of the field. We stayed in the Renassaince hotel across the river at the other end of the Roberto Clemente Bridge, and it was a short, safe and scenic walk to the park. Covid precautions are in place. Cost and quality of food was what you would expect from any MLB park, however we did not eat at any of the specialty locations, e.g., Primanti Bros. It's a modern ball park and yet, there is a simple, classic elegance to it. It was a very good experience overall.

On Sundays, if you arrive earlier they have nice games for kids and families. Try to book in advance and if you buy your tickets on the internet it's going to be cheaper but you must download the app. They have tons of things for kids and the prices for food are not horrible.

Not only do you to watch the great game of baseball in a great baseball city but you get to do it in maybe the best place to watch a baseball game in the country. My wife and I are Yankee fans so we like to combine watching them play with a little sightseeing and we were both blown away by PNC. Plenty of food options but the best may be Manny's along the centerfield concourse. I think it's one of the top 3 food options in all of baseball and you may get lucky enough to mee the man himself, Manny Sanguillen. Seats along the 3rd base line have one of the best views in baseball. The Pittsburgh skyline is very pretty in the day or night. If you're in town and you're a baseball fan give PNC a visit.

Where is section 115, row GG and what entrance do you use to enter
Larry C

The entrance to this beautiful park is very easy to find. I would go to the federal side street to enter the park that way once you’re in the ushers can get you going to what seats you have. Enjoy the game and enjoy the number one stadium in the baseball league

What are the seats like? we’re going to a concert next year (if all this mess clears up) and one of my family members is overweight. I want to make sure they won’t be miserable . for reference Sec 127, Row S, Seat 1 - 2. they’d be sitting on an aisle.

I don’t know what overweight means in your eyes, but I’m 6’2” and weight about 240. I had no issue with the seats. Being taller I wish there was another 4-6”, if I had another 20lns in me I’m not sure I would have been comfortable.

Hi, I want to go see a game in July with my husband. We have a 6 month infant, will the baby need a ticket even though he will be in our lap?

Hot Springs Village, AR1,183 contributions
Yes they have tours of the stadium. Go to the PNC web site. The tours vary whether there is a home game or not. If they are not playing, then you get to see the locker room. Purchase tickets a head of time. We did the tour and found it very informative and got to go on the actual field.
I am going to the Pittsburgh verses Atlanta game there on the 4th I was wo during if they offer face painting there.

What’s the best time to see a game 12,1,4,7?
restaurantreview243
Pittsburgh, PA19 contributions
If you choose an afternoon game on a hot summer day and you want sun, then choose 3rd base or left field. If you want shade, then choose 1st base. Other than that, I would think it would depend on your travel plans. Night game and planning to stay overnight, there are quite a few hotels now near the ballpark.

Stay at the Holiday Inn Express that is located across the street from the park. Great spot and you walk everywhere. However, you will have to pay $24 a day to park but still worth the price.
