On arrival, there is a large parking space for you to park your vehicle. You then purchase a ticket and wait for your guide to arrive and direct you on your tour.

Upon arrival, you will need to pay an admission fee at the ticket booth close to the entrance before you start your journey. You will then begin your walk from Ubud to the waterfall. This is a short walk filled with many small shops and food stalls along the way.

Once you get to the final destination, you can relax and swim beneath the fall. While the waterfall is beautiful at all times in the day, it is highly recommended to visit early in the morning to avoid the crowds.

Gitgit Waterfall

Gitgit Waterfall is another popular waterfall located in Gitgit Village, North Bali. It is considered one of the best North Bali waterfalls to visit and takes about 30-45 minutes to reach when driving from Lovina Beach.

The waterfall, which opened to the public in 1975, reaches a height of 35-metres. The waterfall is found in a beautiful green jungle environment, giving you the feeling of being surrounded by nature.

Krisik Waterfall

Lemukih Waterfall

Lemukih Waterfall is located in Buleleng Regency, Bali and is known to be the cousin of Sekumpul Waterfall. Among the two waterfalls, Sekumpul Waterfall is the most popular, meaning it is more crowded that the Lemukih Waterfall.

Getting to your destination might be quite tricky, and there is a possibility that you will find yourself at the Sekumpul Waterfall instead of the Lemukih Waterfall! You will have to hike through a small village to your destination and will come across the Sekumpul Waterfall before you reach Lemukih Waterfall.

Lemukih Waterfall is on the right side of the Sekumpul Waterfall and is made up of three waterfalls that cascade into a single pool below. Visitors will get the chance to relax in the river and swimming is allowed in the pools around the falls.

Air Terjun Fiji Waterfall

This waterfall is a lesser-known fall located just 10 minutes from Sekumpul Waterfall in Lemukih Village. This location offers a breathtaking waterfall and boasts fewer crowds than Sekumpul.

You will also get to enjoy views of the surrounding rainforest and rice fields during your walk to the waterfall and back. There is additionally a small stall selling fresh coconuts - the perfect treat to enjoy as you relax and unwind in the waterfall's pool surrounded by lush rainforest.

Les Waterfall (Yeh Mempeh Waterfall) is a must-see on the famous island of Bali. It is located in Tejakula, Buleleng Regency. In Balinese, "Yeh Mempeh Waterfall" means a waterfall that flies.

Les Waterfall is one of the largest waterfalls in Bali measuring up to 30-metres high. It is a destination that is actually hidden from many tourists, but it is worth seeking out if you can. From the car park, you have to walk for about 15 minutes through the jungle to reach the fall, but the walk is effortless.

On arrival, you can enjoy swimming in the pools beneath the fall and will want to take lots of pictures of this breathtaking "flying" waterfall. You can also ask for a guide if you want to explore more of the jungle around the waterfall.

Pengempu Waterfall

Pengempu Waterfall is located near the Sangeh Monkey Forest in the Cau Belayu Village, Marga, Kabupaten Tabanan, Bali. It is one of the least-visited waterfalls in Bali, which is an advantage since you get the chance to escape from large crowds found at other attractions in the area.

Pengempu Waterfall has a height of about 20-metres and is surrounded by beautiful forest. No entrance fee is required, but there is a donation box available for you to donate something for the maintenance of the waterfall. Once ready to go, the fall is just a short walk from the car park and donation area.

In Munduk Village, there are three main waterfalls, namely Melanting Waterfall, Golden Valley Waterfall, and Munduk Waterfall. Melanting Waterfall is a majestic waterfall located in Munduk Village, Banjar District.

Once in the Munduk Village, you can access the Melanting Waterfall by taking the 500 stairs leading to the waterfall. Melanting Waterfall is one of the mighty waterfalls in the country. The waterfall is 15-metres high with a pool at the base for swimming and relaxation.

Walking to this waterfall can be slippery, so it is recommended to wear sports or trekking shoes. Once at the fall, you can go swimming in the waterfall pool and trek around the waterfall through its jungle-like surrounding.

Nungnung Waterfall is not a place for everyone, especially if you do not like challenging yourself. Getting to the waterfall can be difficult because of the 500 plus stairs that must be overcome before reaching the final destination. However, the real difficulty comes when climbing back-up when you want to leave.

If you are with kids, I recommend visiting another waterfall in Bali because of the potential difficulty of climbing the stairs.

If you do decide to tackle the climb, once at the breathtaking waterfall, you are allowed to swim in the pool below or can just relax and take in the view.

Peguyangan Waterfall

Peguyangan Waterfall, also known as the Blue Stairway to Heaven, can be found in Batu Kandik Village, Nusa Penida District.

Reaching the Peguyangan Waterfall can be tricky since it is located on a cliff next to the sea. You will have to climb down quite a few stairs to reach it from the parking area.

After going through the difficulty of climbing down to reach the waterfall, you will be rewarded with fantastic views. You will get the opportunity to swim in the pools below as well, and of course, take lots of pictures to prove you made it to the waterfall!

Manuaba Waterfall

This waterfall is not one of the most popular in Bali (yet!), so you will likely be able to view it in private. You can additionally wander around the surrounding rice fields before or after you visit the fall.

It is a great waterfall to visit during a trip to the nearby Gunung Kawi Sebatu Temple and Tegalalang Rice Terrace. There is an entrance fee to the waterfall of 10,000 IDR.

Kuning Waterfall

The walk to the fall can be a little difficult with some steep steps and slippery surfaces. However, once there, you will be able to enjoy the stunning fall and bathe in the surrounding pools in calm solitude.

The waterfall is also surrounded by tranquil and lush forest that you will be able to enjoy on the walk to the fall. There is an entrance fee, but it is worth it to be able to experience this waterfall and its peaceful atmosphere.

Goa Rang Reng Waterfall

Goa Rang Reng Waterfall can be located in Banjar Gitgit, Bakbakan Village, Gianyar sub-district.

Unlike other waterfalls, you can access this waterfall via motorbike. Then from the parking area, you have to walk just a short distance to get to the waterfall.

Tukad Cepung Waterfall is one of the top waterfalls in Bali that is growing in popularity. It is located in Bangli, hidden between rocks, which creates a beautiful, magical atmosphere.

Tukad Cepung Waterfall has a lot of picture-taking sites for you to explore. The waterfall pool is not deep enough for you to swim, but this does not mean you cannot get in to cool off. You can also stand below the fall to enjoy a refreshing natural shower from the cascading waterfall.
